Post  faisaliqbal on Tue May 05, 2009 3:02 pm

Durood-e-Ibrahim
Durood-e-Ibrahim is the only Durood recited in the Namaz/Sala (Prayers). Below is the Ayah from Surah Al-Ahzab (33) of the Quran,

Bismilla Hir Rahman Nir Raheem
In'nal'la'ha wa' ma'la'i'ka'ta'hu yus'ha'lu'na a'lan na'biy ya'ay' yu'hal la'zi'na'a ma'nu sal lu a'lai'hi wa sal'i'mu tas'li'ma

Translation:
ALLAH and his Angels send blessings on the Prophet (SallahlahoAleiheWasallam)
O ye that believe! Send ye blessings on him and salute him with all respect.

Bismilla Hir Rahman Nir Raheem
Durood-e-Ibrahim (1st Part)
Allahumma sal'lee 'ala muhammadune wa 'ala alee muhammadin kama Sal’lay’ta 'ala ibrahima wa 'ala alee ibrahima, innaka hammidum majeed

Translation:
O ALLAH, Bless Muhammad (SallahlahoAleiheWasallam) and the family of Muhammad (SallahlahoAleiheWasallam)
As YOU bless Ibrahim (AleiheSalam) and the family of Ibrahim (AleiheSalam), in all the worlds. You are worthy of Praise and Glorious.

Durood-e-Ibrahim (2nd Part)
Allahumma Ba’rik 'ala muhammadune wa 'ala alee muhammadin kama Ba’rak’ta 'ala ibrahima wa 'ala alee ibrahima, innaka hammidum majeed

Translation:
And give baraka to Muhammad (SallahlahoAleiheWasallam) and the family of Muhammad (SallahlahoAleiheWasallam) as You gave baraka to Ibrahim (AleiheSalam) and the family of Ibrahim (AleiheSalam), in all the worlds. You are worthy of Praise and Glorious.
